Aqualex sought to elevate its water dispenser brand, shifting from a simple office fixture to a premium water brand with a concept store on an A-location in Knokke. We addressed this double challenge by exploring the themes of water, design and art, turning your typical water cooler break into something extra.

We worked on identity, that, just like water, can adapt to different contexts. Minimal, characteristic logo that evokes a premium feeling supported by a selection of elegant colours and textures. In this concept, brand, space and product all become equal elements of the Aqualex experience.

To deliver on this promise, we created an immersive space that blurred the line between art and product. Instead of a conventional faucet showroom, we introduced an art gallery concept, where the theme of water ran through every piece. The space features elegant, arched compartments to give each product, elevated to the status of an artwork, its own dedicated space. This design choice allowed the faucets to shine as premium, high-design products within a truly unique setting. This approach created a one-of-a-kind shopping experience and reinforced Aqualex’s position as a quality label for water.

The strategic use of arches, textures and spatial planning provided a luxurious feel rooted in a sense of intimacy, encouraging customers to linger and engage with both the space and the products. The store became a destination where design enthusiasts and art lovers alike can explore the beauty and meaning of water.
